Bill D. Gray
Mr. Gray passed away on December 1, 2012 in Reno, NV after a long and brave battle with cancer. Bill was born on May 24, 1926 in Columbia, Missouri to Marie Wilbur and Lawrence Gray.
Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Dena J. Gray; children, Roxanne Walstrom of Silverton, OR, Sue Eichenberger of Calabasas, CA, Erik (Rick) Gray of Portland, OR, Frank Gray of Portland, OR, Ronnie Lee Gray (deceased) and one granddaughter, Megan Marie Eichenberger.
Mr. Gray moved to Portland when he was 3 years old. He attended Benson High school and served in the US Navy during WW11 in the South Pacific. After the war he founded Gray’s Furniture and Appliance, Inc. and was in business in Portland from 1962 until he retired in 1984. After retirement he became active in commercial real estate.
A Memorial Service will be held in Portland, OR at a date to be announced later. Northern Nevada Memorial is entrusted with arrangements.
