Obituary for Ruth Beisner

Ruth Beisner
Eighteen months ago after the passing of Richard, her husband of 62 years, Ruth decided she wanted to move to Reno, Nevada where the sun shines all the time. In her usual independent style she got her own apartment where she lived until two months ago. In spite of her assorted medical problems she managed to keep up her active lifestyle by walking around Virginia Lake and visiting with the ducks.
The last 2 months of her life were spent at the home of her daughter Biddy and her husband Terry’s house. She spent many hours in the sunroom there guarded by Bear their Labrador retriever. They would listen for the trains to go by and watch the hawks surf on the winds. Friends and family would visit with her there.
During her lifetime she spent many years working in physician’s offices with people she considered to be part of her family. She retired at the age of 85.

Beisner and wife Melody, Daughter Biddy Jo Gay and husband Terry, Daughter Diane Ezell, Granddaughter Danell Creasey and husband Andy, Great Grandchildren Cameron Joseph Creasey and Marshal Elisabeth Creasey, Sister Ellen Lewis, Nieces Billie Sue, Coleen, Nancy and Nephews John, Rory, Brett
