Marcia Ann Eberlein, age 70 of Reno NV passed away July 3, 2016. Marcia was born in Waupun Wisconsin on March 7, 1946, the daughter of Milton and Lois (Vande Zande) Veleke. She married Donald Eberlein on April 3, 1982 at the Guardian Angel Cathedral in Las Vegas NV. Marcia was a 1964 graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School in Eau Claire. She also graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.

Marcia was employed in the credit union/banking business for a number of years. Marcia and Don had resided in a number of locations during their 34+ years of marriage, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver and Chicago. After their retirement they moved to Reno from the Chicago area 2 years ago. Marcia enjoyed the movies, reading, visiting family and friends, cruises and traveling. While living in Las Vegas and Reno areas, she enjoyed an occasional trip to the casinos to test her luck.

Marcia is survived by her husband of the home, brother Richard Veleke of Eau Claire WI. Sisters-in-law Janet Veleke of Plymouth WI and Alice Veleke of Eau Claire WI. She is also survived by a niece, Holly (Chris) Dooley of Eau Claire WI, nephews Jeff (Trish) Veleke of Pittsburgh PA and Ryan (Kerri) Veleke of Appleton WI. Great nieces and nephews Alyssa and Brendan Dooley, Alexandria, Samuel, Nicholas, Mason, Mara, David, Corrina and Zachary Veleke. Also surviving is her aunt Evelyn Lemke of Waupun WI and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Lois Veleke, brother Ronald and nephew David (and his wife Heidi).

A memorial service will be held in Reno NV at 10am on Saturday, Aug 13th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Services and burial will be held in Eau Claire Wisconsin at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to a charity of donor’s choice.
