Friends since 9th grade

Shirley and I met in junior high and shared so many good times over the years. We were both in band ........Shirley on the French horn and I on the clarinet. There were potluck dinners before football games, and slumber parties where she and I were usually the last to go to sleep. We loved the Junior Aux dances, especially the formals ,and we met other young people from the other high schools in Waterloo,Iowa. It was a good place and time for those special years. Shirley was the maid-of-honor at our wedding and we have shared our lives in the years since. John and Shirley shared a unique humor and I always loved being with them. Shirley was always kind, helpful, and the perfect friend. I will miss you, dear friend. GODSPEED. Love always. Bobbie
